2025 Diplomat Invite - Saturday, December 20 at Franklin & Marshall, Lancaster

A bus is scheduled to depart from the high school at 7:45 a.m.

Warmups begin at 9 a.m.
Meet starts at 11 a.m.

The McGinness Pool is a 50m x 25y competition pool with non-turbulent lane lines. The
competition course will be 8 deep-water lanes. There will be 13 lanes available for warm-up/cool down during the meet. A Colorado System 7 timing system with electronic pads and full 8-line scoreboard readout will display official times and finish.

Admission:
There will be paid admission at the entrance to the gallery
$10 for adults
$5 for Senior/Kids (Senior 65+ and Kids 17-5)
Kids under 5 free
Cash or credit card will be accepted at the door.

Timers:
Franklin & Marshall will need volunteer timers. Since the meet is projected to last over 5 hours, there will be 2 shifts of timers, 11am-2pm and 2pm to the finish (timers switch during the Girls 500 Free). Parents/volunteers are welcome to sign up for both shifts or just one. If they cover both shifts they will get $20 in gift cards or $10 for one shift.

Concessions:
There will be concessions available - Rosa Rosa, a local restaurant, is going to set-up a stand next to the gallery entrance on the second floor. They will be selling pizza, wraps, sandwiches, sodas, and sports drinks.

Deck Space:
Teams will be assigned benches on the pool deck in a way that everyone has a good amount of space. This information will be provided to coaches in advance of the meet. Swimmers will not be able to use the courts/track on the first floor as there will be a soccer clinic taking place.

Rules:
The meet will follow PIAA rules. The referee shall have full jurisdiction over the conduct of the meet and the enforcement of rules. Any questions or disputes that might arise will be settled by the Referee. The meet will be officially US Observed.

Individual Entries:
There are no restrictions on total entries per team. Each swimmer is allowed to enter a
maximum of 4 events, 2 individual and 2 relays or 1 individual and 3 relays.

Relay Entries:
Each team is allowed a maximum of two entries per relay. Relay personnel and changes can be submitted to the meet director on the day of the meet, no later than 15 minutes before the start of the event.

Entry Procedure:
Swimmers should be entered with times established during the 2025-26 competitive season. Swimmers with no established time for an event may be entered (“NT”) and will be seeded randomly in the first heat.

Preliminary psych sheets will be sent out the week of the meet, and heat sheets will be available at the meet.

Results:
Meet results will be posted on our website at www.swimcloud.com, as well as on Meet Mobile.

Scoring:
Scoring will be to 24th place
The scoring of place value for individual events shall be by the following points: 32, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Relay scoring will be: 64, 56, 54, 52, 50, 48, 46, 44, 40, 34, 32, 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2

Timeline:
An approximate meet timeline, based on entries, will be sent to coaches the week of the meet.

Parking:
Parking will be available for both vans and buses on the west side of the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center. Please park on the west side of the building and walk up the path to the main entrance. The west side parking lot is at the traffic light adjacent to our turf field and a Turkey Hill convenience store.

Athletic Trainer:
An athletic trainer will be on site for the meet, Dr. Catie Koenig. She will be arriving to the pool deck at 10am and will be there throughout the meet.
