Bishop McDevitt Swimming Morning Practices

Morning practices begin Monday, January 8 from 6:00-7:00 a.m. at Central Penn. The morning sessions will occur every Monday and Thursday morning with one exception (see dates below).

Attendance is strongly encouraged for swimmers who have already achieved a qualifying standard or who antcipate doing so in the next month. Morning sessions will NOT replace the required afternoon sessions.

Bishop McDevitt Swimming dryland begins on Friday, December 8

Please arrive ready to go with sneakers, t-shirt, shorts or sweats. No school uniforms.

Wednesdays: 3:30-4:05 in TRX room at Central Penn
Wednesday sessions will be strength based and are recommended for swimmers with or who expect to achieve district or state times.

Fridays: 3:45-4:05 in the pool solarium at Central Penn
All levels are welcome. The primary focus for Friday sessions will be core strength, stability and flexibility.

Starting Wednesday, November 30
Every Wednesday 3:30-4:05 in the TRX room at Central Penn (next to pool by steps)

Please arrive in the TRX room ready to go with sneakers, t-shirt, shorts or sweats—no school uniforms please.

We will work on strength, explosive power, balance, core strength/stability and flexibility all related to swimming and transferable to in water speed.

This is not a mandatory part of practice but is highly encouraged especially for swimmers looking to achieve district or state times.

Athlete Information for 2017-18 Season

All new and returning members to the Bishop McDevitt Swim Team are required to provide personal, contact, and apparel sizing information. Swimmers/ parents may use the form posted on this web site HERE
