Senior Recognition Night
Senior swimmers from Bishop McDevitt will be recognized during this meet at approximately 4\:30 p.m.
Bishop McDevitt swimmers will lead the presentation\, however\, each senior swimmer may choose any person (teammate\, coach\, sibling\, etc) to speak about their memories and future plans based on the team's senior questionnaire.
Parents\, friends\, and other relatives are welcome to be present on deck during this recognition period.

7\:30-9\:30 a.m.\: Warm-ups\: Bishop McDevitt swimmers have been assigned to the first warm-up session from 7\:30-8\:00 a.m. There will also be additional warmup/cooldown periods during the meet.
9\:15 a.m.\: Mandatory final scratches-only meeting
Bishop McDevitt Swimming Presidents' Day Challenge Set
(credit given to Ryan Woodruff\, Head Coach Lynchburg YMCA\, for the basis of this set)
2 rounds of the following\:
2 x (75 FAST + 75 easy) on 3\:00
2 x (75 FAST + 50 easy) on 2\:30
2 x (75 FAST + 25 easy) on 2\:00
Guidelines to successfully complete this set\:
• Each 75 FAST swim can be no slower than best 100 time minus 00\:07.5. For example\, if a swimmer’s best 100 free time is 1\:00.00 and they choose freestyle for the 75 FAST\, they must finish the 75 FAST at 52.50 or faster.
You’re invited to a “Fun”draiser Art Party!
The team needs minimum commitment of 12 participants but can only take a maximum of 24.
Proceeds benefit Bishop McDevitt Swimming. No artistic talent is needed to create this mixed media art.
What you get\:
*All the art supplies to make this 8 x 10 art on a ready to hang canvas.
*Lots of guided instructions and encouragement from a certified art teacher.
*Art Smock provided\, but please be aware that acrylic paint does not wash out.
*FUN!!!
